Haiyo....today i was driving along the LDP and managed to look at this billboard (of David Tan proposing to his gf). I was wondering how come it is still there. And when i looked at it again, i noticed there is a sentence which weren't there before. O my!! LOVE DIAMOND (jewellery brand) took advantage and include into this billboard. Ah...so, this is how Mr. David Tan going to get back his RM40,000 or more. i try to shoot a photo of it if i pass there again real soon.

MARRIAGE PROPOSALS

When it comes to marriage proposals, some guys can get really creative. Recently, on valentine's day, this guy David Tan gave her a surprise by putting up the marriage proposal on the big billboard along the LDP highway near Kelana Jaya. The girlfriend, Kelly...of course was shocked in disbelief and said yes. That billboard cost a whopping RM 40k. He also gave her a 14k diamond ring.

What?? RM 40k just to pop up that question? And he is working in advertising firm. C'mon, i am sure there are many more creative ways than this. This idea is so overused. Some of you may say, he has the money mah, he can do it. If he is already spending that much, why not just buy a whole condo/ apartment or bungalow and walk right in with a marriage proposal? Go all way la since already spending that much. And if you read in theStar, he waited for her to say Yes before giving her the diamond ring. Ha...that's the safety precaution. If she said No, he could still keep that 14k diamond ring.

Is not about the money. I guess he could still come up with splendid ideas instead of the Billboard. Pronouncing to the whole world may not be the best as if there is any hiccups leading to the wedding day or worse after that, then it would be quite embarrassing. More so, if it is the guy's fault. He should have come and pay me to come up with ideas. I charge much less :)

Here, you have good outcome and others may not work out quite right. So, guys...make sure she is committed to you 100% before you propose out in the open like that. sometimes, a girl likes to be with you but not necessary want to marry you. Test water first, ok?

PUCHONG JAYA APARTMENT - HAUNTED

This is something unexplainable. Is it that i had a close encounter with 'those' stuffs or i am just so fat that i actually got the jeans torn like that???!!!

well, I went for an event at the Gardens in the evening and as i left that place, it was about 8.20pm. I think my jeans were still 'intact'. Otherwise my friends would notice. I went to my friend's house in Puchong for mahjong game until 3am. Now, i am pretty sure if my jeans were torn like that there, those guys would be laughing their lungs then. Maybe i got it scratched under the table? No..not at all. My thigh is pretty wound-free. I noticed this right after i came out from the staircase of the apartment.

If you look at the torn areas, it is quite impossible for any jeans to be torn like that. No hooks, no nails, no sharp objects. otherwise my thigh would be wounded too. If it was bcoz i was fat...well, frankly speaking it wouldn't tear like that lo. It would be one big hole right in the middle (logically). Just look at the smaller torn areas. It was like as though someone used a sharp object. This is something really unexplainable. Really creepy man. I bought this jeans only 2 mths ago.

So, can anyone give a logical explanation?? so that I am more satisfied with the cause, rather than believing it may be something else.

CUTE?

I was just surfing around youtube and was actually looking at these ppl doing video blogs and came upon this. Frm the picture, she looks cute. I didn't know what to expect. I assumed it was same like those who rant about their daily lives and 'act' different characters on screen but this is something unexpected. And she got over 2 million views on this. wow! Amazing. Haha. I really do not know how to react after watching this video. Like some, the reaction could be 'WTF?!" Why so many viewers? And she speaks japanese, so what made it so popular?? i thought, hey...if she did something after 'that' and sprang a surprise, it could be something like Andy Kaufman's comedy act. Anyway, you have a look and see what kinda reaction you would have.

The Return of Kira

o man....this blog is going to be Edison's story only. Are you still thirsting for edison's story? I'm sure some of you are already tired of the news but hey,... this is THE hottest story ever and i think it's even better than any TV shows you are following.

Everyone thought the whole thing was over and done with. Hell...no! 2 new photos sufficed today and looks like a Valentine's present for all. So, Kira was not paid? Not enough? or could he be threatened? My friend's got this assumption that who dares to taunt the boss of EEG as he was rumoured to be linked with triads. With 1 million dollars, he could hire any killers to do the job. Or could it be the real Kira was caught or harmed and now the baton has been passed on to the other Kira(s)? Edison will be back in HK on Sunday and we wonder what's going to happen to him. I also wonder what if the video is true that indicates Jackie Chan was also involved in some sort of sex scandal with artistes? If the story thus goes on, it would certainly get more interesting.

Ok. Everyone waited but 'Kira' didn't post any videos or new photos after more than 48hrs. Many are still waiting but since there's no news of 'kira', he could be paid off by EEG.

So many conspiracy theories.
- that jackie chan might be involved in some sex scandal too. And because he is the torch bearer for the Olympics. So HK 10 million was paid out to silent 'kira'. Why is that so? coz in the video, it was purportedly that Edison asked Gillian who is better; Jackie, Albert (owner of EEG) or me?

If the rumours are true, 'kira' is waiting Edison to be back in HK this friday and will release more pics then.

I am not sure how they paid 'kira' off as even with Swiss or Offshore account, can't Interpol intercept? or is it so powerful that no international law can trace you if you open those acc?

I wished those photos were taken in a more pleasing and arty manner. At least it's more worthwhile to keep. I think i will be deleting the batches soon :) I keep the Jap Av ones better :)

The other two weren't so well-known or popular, so they are overshadowed. so let's see what other news in the next 2 days.

There's no update on edison chen's sex scandal saga. That 'kira' supposed to post the video at 3am. Well, we don't know which timezone is he/she in but i guess he/she is still in HK.

There are rumours that the 'kira' was paid off or has been captured and that is why there is no news from 'kira'. So, for those of you waiting for the Maggi Q photos will be left disappointed. And Edison will fly back to HK this thursday or friday to face the media and assisting the police in the investigation. Edison Chen - Bad Boy

Took a little break from blogging and so many news to talk about.

Yes, i am sure everyone by now heard the biggest news to the start of the year 2008 - Edison Chen sex scandal. And also have seen up to 600 of the photos uploaded by this 'kira'' guy. Apparently, he is taunting the police that they will never catch him and will be uploading the video soon.

The sex scandal involved known actresses or singers like Cecilia Cheung, Gillian Chung and Bobo Chan. It was also mentioned that even Maggi Q was in it too.

So, how do you feel when you saw these photos?

I am sure some of you are devastated as edison chen might be your idol. Cute guy with that charming smile. I am not surprise at all as he looks like a bad boy to me from the start. But what i am surprised is how these girls allowed a fellow to take pictures in obscene poses. Some of these gals looked so innocent and pretty but the photos showed how misbehave they are behind closed doors. I mean all guys are pervert in some ways...(that's why women often say 'guys are same') but to record all your rendevouz and saved in on your computer? If edison had taken the photos in some arty manner, i might still enjoy them but they were taken like porn. They are so distasteful. I don't enjoy watching Cecilia's batch of photos, seriously. And don't even get me started on her bushy part.

If you are edison, how do you feel?
I can't even imagine as he is an actor, a public figure. I assume friends will turn away. No need to talk about female friends. As he is quite recognizable everywhere, things will be quite hard for him in a few years to come. For the women involved and in this Asian region, they will be branded sluts and it will be difficult for them for awhile. If this is in the West, then it would be different story.

So, what have we learned from here?
If you have sexual fantasies with your partner n all that, don't take pictures. It will always ended up somewhere in your computer. Delete is not an option. It can always be recovered.

Confessions of Superheroes

Just watched this documentary 'Confessions of Superhero'.
The movie is about a few people who makes a living by dressing up in superhero costumes. They will strut up and down sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard and hoping the tourists will ask them to pose for picture and tip them. They are not allowed to solicit tips or hassle any tourists or the cops will come and cuff them off. They can make at least 300 dollars a day or up to 549 dollars. Wow... i also want to work there!


The movie centers around 4 'superheroes' - Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Hulk. Some might take these 4 as delusional and without proper career but hey...aren't they making good money than many of us? But it's great to watch as they are just as normal like us and just trying to make a living with what they do best. The show talks about their triumphant and hardship.

Well, finally i am done with receiving promotions thru SMS. It's totally annoying. I know some ppl collected these datas and sell to some clients. They used to send thru this number, 32xxx but i guess after much complaints, they changed to 62002. What i did was called up Maxis to bar this number and i hope i won't receive anymore of this in the future except if it is something concerning my own promotions...-_- :)

so, if you wish to stop receiving SMS promotions thru these companies, you can call up Maxis. They will verify your account and bar that number. So i am free frm all these spams frm Velvet, Zouk, Sanctuary, China White Dance club, Aloha, etc etc..

I'm in the mood to share some of my favourites this week.
Here is another favourite of mine "SWEETBACK". This gem is hard to find and if you can get your hands on this album, you are consider lucky. I got the original from a second-hand store many yrs back. If i am not mistaken, after a few yrs frm their debut album, they came out with another called Stage 2. It's hard to find either but you can always get it in Amazon.com.

I like to listen to this after rave party last time. It helps to really chill down. I still remember by the last song...i could see the morning light and my whole body was aching and ready to sleep. Ah..one of the song is damn mellow, it could just drag your emotion down. It's called 'Walk of Ju'. And i got it here for you to listen :)

I was introduced to his first album, 'Urban Hang Suite' in 1999 and collected all his other 2 albums; Embrya and Lifetime when released. The last one was in 2001.

CLOVERFIELD - my experience

I just came back from the movie, "CLOVERFIELD". Surprisingly, we (malaysians) got to watch it first before the official opening in the States.

DON'T WORRY, i am not going to give any SPOILERS here.

For me, i have kept my expectations low when watching this movie and of course braving for any headaches which may suffice during the 1 and half hour show. If you are going to watch this movie, my advice is for you to get good sits at least 10 rows away from the screen. As you all would have known, the movie is about a tape that was retrieved at the 'Central Park' after 'the' incident and it's revealed to you what happened that day.

Since it is produced by JJ Abrams, who also produced LOST - expect to leave the cinema with your own conclusions or with more questions. Some people might give this a thumb-down but i say, this is so much better than I AM THE LEGEND. I am more intrigued at how this movie was planned and filmed.The whole story is being told as if it is really real and happened.

Monsters.
Yes, everyone is guessing what kind of monster and would it be shown in the movie. The answer is yes. You will be able to see the monster.

How was the movie?
My reaction is......wow.....this is so cool. So real. And this is what i call it, 'thinking out of the box'.

Answers?
Even after watching this movie, i dont have anything to tell you coz there is no answer BUT it is still worthwhile to watch it. It has a lot of suspense and it keeps you on the edge of your seats after the first 10mins. I may watch it again...just for the fun of it. Perhaps we can find more answers after it is shown in the States.
