LIVE EARTH 'LIVE'

Today is a very special day. 7.7.07. And the LIve Earth started and you can watch it 'live' on msn. It is held over 7 continents - UK, US, Australia, China, Brazil, South Africa and Japan. YOu must use internet explorer to watch it. So log on http://liveearth.org or http://liveearth.msn.com It is extremely smooth streaming!

Now it's 9.30am and the concert already started in Australia. Next would be Japan, China, Germany, UK, US and Brazil.

The artic ice is melting and will cause massive flood worldwide and it's already happening. Climate will change and there will be more disasters. The time has come for us to do something.
so, what are you going to do to contribute saving our planet? At our home here, we have already started to throw the plastic bottles in separate bags months ago. And i have donated most of my old clothes and some quite recent [coz i couldnt wear them :( ] to those needy.

We are lucky lots in Msia as we do not experience the kind of disasters elsewhere BUT...well, we have already seen how rain here has caused floods in many part of the states. Even the SMART tunnel system couldn't divert more than 60% of the flood in the city. It is not Armageddon..haha. Just live your life cool and enjoy every moment and also do pledge to do something good for mother nature for our future generations.

SMOKIN UP

Well, it's confirmed. The price for cigarettes gone up and one big pack cost RM8.20 now. Fuiyoh! So, are you guys gonna cut down or don't bother? It doesn't bother me coz i quit when it was RM4.50 :) fuiyoh! Still, we are cheaper than Spore but i guess it would go up to RM9++ very soon. If you find yourself wanting to quit but always find it difficult to do so, try cutting down the amount of sticks you smoke a day. Cut the habit of taking breaks and going for short puff. If you can achieve that, then you will come to the last habit that is smoking after meals. That time, you would be smokin only 3 sticks a day.

Stop buying cigarettes then. Of course don't get into the habit of asking from your frends. From here, you are almost there. :)

Loreal color for life

We went up to Genting in my miserable Kancil for the Loreal Color for Life event. Great performances by the salons but there were two salons which din really deliver. This one was by Peek-a-Boo with the theme 'ice'

The event started at about 7.20pm and when we left at 11pm, the event was still running. We were all worn out and had to come back to kl for work :( it was too bad that i don;t have a zoom lens and a camera flash light. So the shots were disappointing.

The Firm - NTV 7

The Firm is something like the american version of The Apprentice. It is now showing on NTV 7. It was shown last Sunday but i am unable to watch any of it coz the reception at my house is very bad and ...yes...i dun own astro either. Basically, i dun watch tv much. I hope someone locally knows how to rip it off and put it on youtube :) maybe NTV shud do it.

So, the first episode was aired and already there are unsatisfied viewers. click here for her comments. I should have applied, huh. Perhaps, i can play a villian or a dumb dumb blur guy which i dun need any acting at all =)

waterspout in singapore

This is an old news. Happened a mth back on May 27th, a day before my bday ;) in singapore. A waterspout was spotted by many and was caught on cams. Some thought it was a tornado but even if it so, most singaporeans were extremely calm and enjoyed the phenomenon (as seen the videos). Waterspout is not dangerous but it does pose some danger for ships or fishermen out at sea. Our climate has certainly changed a lot and i wonder what if this was a real tornado....

Feist - that's the name of this artist and her new album, The Reminder was released in May, 2007. I have this album sent to me but i didn't know it was good until i accidentally stumbled onto her music video on youtube. Only after that i realized her new album was sitting on my table for more than a week. A little folksy and pop that's how i describe it but overall, it is a good listen. I prefer her previous album, Let It Die as there are more catchy tunes and somehow it sounded a bit Abba to me or sometimes a bit Bjork.


I picked this song 1234 and you have to watch it. I watched this video over and over again and it is so seamlessly made or edited. How did they do it?


and you should watch this as well. Taken frm her old album, Let It Die, this song is called One Evening. Look at the dance steps. Isn't it cheesy? :) i like it!!!!

KinkyBlueFairy

Thank you Joyce or better known as Kinkybluefairy, one of the red-hot female blogger in town for buying a copy of Oxygen magazine and did a little review on it. And you know what, it sold out at a few bookstores like Sg Wang and the little bookshop at Curve (below TGI).

Of course, the magazine would not had been such a unique one this issue if not for Angie, the one who insisted us printing on environmentally paper, Vincent Paul Yong for his creative photography, Kenneth Vernon for his daring styling and last but not least, my managing partner aka design director, Sarah Tan for her contemporary layout & design.
