Guess Who

just came back frm Force of Nature concert. It was great. There were many spectacular moments and wanna share a few with y'all. Boyz 2 Men gave a solid show rendering at least 6 classics like Water Runs Dry, Mama, the end of the road, on bended knee.etc. I think they were happy to see that there were so many ppl who love their songs. Splendid!!

Wyclef stole the show. He was at his best. Reminding the audience that he flew 26hrs to KL, he made everyone stood up and danced. Not only can he sing, he played the electric guitar with awesome skills. At one point, he even played it with his teeth! The best part was he requested the lights out and asked the audience to switch on their cell phone lights. Wonderful idea. But of coz, Lauryn Hill came on and also belted out my favourite, "killing me softly".

and...o ya...Eric Benet also made a special appearance. Eric who? erm...u have to check him out. His songs are not bad. lastly, the best was kept till last. Who else but the BackStreetBoyz. ahh..ok, i am not realy their fan but they did put up a quite impressive dance routine while singing.

OK...it's been awhile i update this blog, ay.
So, wat u wanna know....
ok...let's start with wat i can think of now....
i had my hair dyed about a mth ago. ya..now i looked like ah beng liao.
can go join those crowds in Warp or Rush...haha. Not exactly so. Just wanted to do something different from the norm. I think my norm looks a bit OLD and very not attractive at all. With this new hair, it supposed to look a bit stylish, more up todate, trendy...well, but my tummy supercede the overall look. Erm...now i qualify to be in the PLU liao.

O ya...there was a frog in my toilet yesterday nite. dunno how it got there and amazingly, it was sticking on the edge at the corner of the tiles - 4ft high! how it jumped so high??? i wonder...anyway, i think it was afraid of me like i was afraid it might jumped at me. so, i let it be and this morning......phew! it was gone.

these days, the heat is really like hell. i think the temperature could've easily rose to 40 celcius. so, if you are residing in overseas....enjoy , man. it's the end of the world liao. we went for the zoukfest recently up in genting. Nothing to shout about. i think most of us went there to 'cool' ourselves. It was windy, drizzling and ya....nice. the music a bit disappointing , though. Anyway, i was also half working there that nite. These 2 muppets made my earlier nite a nightmare, travelling up and down frm the room to the venue.

for our magazine, we took this in Luna Bar, 33rd flr of Pan Pacific Regency. A very nice place to chill out. make sure you be there b4 10pm or they'll charge you Rm 50 for cover.

After the Break

Not much happened for me this chinese new year. Went back hometown, Ipoh for a week and stayed home most of the time, watching TV! Didn't really gamble this year. Yah....very good boy this year :) Is Valentine's day today. Arghh.....another year gone by. Its been many years since i last bought roses. If you are celebrating valentines day.....good luck. Dun burn too big a hole in ur pocket ;) Is the same for me like any other day. Work , work , work.......

Embarassing moment b4 cny

this happened at 6pm, tmn tun - restaurant. well, went there to have my dinner. a bit early though but kinda hungry. i ordered the 'goe loe yuk rice' + 1 fried egg some more...yum yum. Din eat at this place for few mths. As i finished and paid my meal, i noticed that the lower bottom end of the shirt, the tag was showing out. It's kinda strange, so i tried to hid it. Then i looked at the top part of the shirt, ya...the nike logo was there....i paused for a few seconds. Then i was like, ...uh-oh..i touched the collar at the back of the shirt. True enuff i could feel the tag! My goodness....thn i pulled the collar lower to hide the tag. ahh...once that lady gave me back my change, i sculttled hurriedly to the car. luckily, it was quite an early evening dinner for me. if it was later, there wud be many eyes and smiling faces in that restaurant. there you are, the last embarassing moment before the start of the new year.

At first, i wasn't planning to go but last minute got ticket. well, there i was, taking some pictures and gettin my ear blasted by those heavy-duty speakers. same organizer, same problem with the media sitting. We had to crawl our way here and there and tried to have the best shots. His concert.....well, ok la. Stage performance - commendable. Still his best moment was playing the piano and the electronic keyboard. his vocal? i was told by my fren that he always forget his lyrics...on every show!!! He just mumble away with other lines...erm...no wonder i din notice.

you may say, "good la, you....can watch so near". Lemme tell you, is not all so enjoying either. When you are taking pics, u r always preoccupied by the wanting to find the best spot to take pics. And since we are at the front, we have to stand the loud volume frm the giant speakers and those heat frm the firecrackers and constant shouting from the Cadets to ask us to squad down. well, let's hope there are much better concert to come.

well, watched alan tan & hacken lee alone. not excatly alone. was there to do work also le. was a good concert. was a friendly atmosphere, i wud describe it. they interact with the crowds alot. 3 hr concert. a replacement concert worthwhile to go.

Happy New Year

First of all, wish all of you Merry x'mas 2004 and Happy New Year 2005!!!
so many things happened b4 the turn of 2005 , huh.
my heartiest condolences to the victims of tsunami.
well, i din really celebrate x'mas or new year. this year don't really have the mood. On new year's eve, i bought 6 dvds and started my movie marathon at home at 8.30pm. Haven't think of any new year resolution but i guess there's only one for me wish i need to achieve. I guess you know what. It's going to be another tough year. And i need to gather more courage to make those ideas realized.
o ya, one strange thing happened. you know those big beads ppl use to wear it now which says is good for business etc. welll, the string was snapped. erm......hopefully it had somehow shielded me from bad omens.
i'm using sony ericsson now. if you hav any MMS naked photo of urself , you can send me but not from guys la dun make me puke.
the toll is up 10 cent. everything is goin up. haih....
let's see what is in store for all of us this year.

That's ALL???

Well, let's recap.
My Internet was disconnected for a week. coz no $$ to pay bill.
My phone was cut off too.
The fax machine - the film finished liao.
My windows XP suddenly prompt me for admin password after rebooting. had to reinstall XP and all the files and mails on the desktop ...gone.
Bank....haven't settle my problem yet.
Had to buy tickets from Starbucks for charity. If not, they won't allow us to put the mags there.
Had to sponsor a Thermo Flask for a client.
And worst...i had food poisoning 2 days ago. Worst way of vomitting ever. It was agony. More than 8 times in the toilet. Not only that. Had diarrhoea too. The mother of all hell, while having diarrhoea, i had to vomit too. go imagine.

a bit on the good side:
i got a dvd player frm a lucky draw but had to shake my butt on the stage first.
2 client signed up for oxygen
and i bought the LOTR DVD extended version ./...awesome.

my wish list:
a jeans
a wallet.
a new pillow
a briefcase/bag
erm....couldn't think if others now....

LOW

well, i guess this year is my lowest point of my life. where went wrong, i wonder. one after another..... it nvr stops. i dun think i need this kind of life experiences.
did i, in the past life, made an agreement with 'Him' to taste all the problems on this earth??
i guess i'd gone thru almost quite a lot. bring it on...until my brain explode.
is that all????i challenged.
i hope i will like the phoenix next year.

LOST COUNT

There were so much happenings within the last 2 mths that i lost count of all the issues which i wanted to put here. I'm back here again on this beautiful sunday. Well, let me try to flashback as much as possible on wat happened here.

VIRUS
My streamyx connection was disconnected (as usual) and took a few reports b4 they reset the port. This was during the Raya holidays. So, i had quite quiet days during the raya holidays at home catching up my house chores and relocating some shelves to other corners. When finally they reset the port, i couldn't surf to any damn websites or even login to msn. Yes....my comp got virus. It affected the browser. And then i had to reformat my pc. I reformatted the pc and when i went online, immediately i got another virus, almost instantly. I got the Sasser worm. I found the patch but somehow the performance of the pc got slower till the point i couldn't stand it. I reformatted the pc the 3rd time and finally now, is working fine.

KLAFW
Last week was the KL-Asia Fashion Week. It was a great show indeed and i guess the organizer did a good job even though there were some criticism here n there. But of all the nights, i think the CNN sponsored night was the best as the top 12 local designers gave their best show at avenue K, rooftop. I wanted to include some pics here but i haven't got my photoshop software installed yet. maybe you all can check it out at Yongshen's blog. There were some nice shots too. O ya...on the last night of the show, one of the model's tube came down.......ahhhhh...and i missed it! coz i was bz trying to make a clear focus on the model.

EVENTS
Mth of November was most hectic as there were so many events to attend. Had to attend, just becoz had to make contacts. There were many launches and clubing events. BUt sadly, most of the DJs that came this mth didn;t play their best. Most friends tot we spend a lot on our clubing nites. What they didn't notice is that we dont pay cover when we go to these events and maximum, we spend only RM15 for the beer. On some nights, we don't event drink at all. Sound a bit cheapskate la.. ya..well, what to do. Times are hard these days. But most importantly is that we go to most of these events for the music n dance. Is kinda personal. I really do not know how to explain in words. Imagine, 3 blokes in zouk, enjoying n grooving away without much chat and drinks. Of coz, there were times we did feel boring and kinda tired of these clubing nites. Since i am doing the magazine, i feel that by knowing what is going on around in some of these places are a good thing coz i'm updated all the time. Some say i am giving excuses coz i wanted to go clubing. erm.... given a choice, i would rather stay home and play some computer games or go date some girls out for movie. What kinda research or things i can find out at these clubs, u may ask. Well, one thing is we know which club is most frequented and by what kind of people, what kind of music they play and where are these clubbers go or choose when there are some events clash on the same day. By updating myself, i guess is easier to have conversation as i know what they are talking about. Like I only came across "Morning Class" 3 mths ago. Even though i knew this place for over a year but i didn;t know thre is such term. So, if you don;t know what is it...try asking around :)

Magazine
Gettin much response and feedback. Of coz we can do better than what we are doing now. Only setback is we are not supported by some big companies etc. And manpower is another issue which is hard to tackle when there weren't much funds to play around. On doing this magazine for so many mths, i noticed there were many ppl came into my life and helped in many ways. maybe they didn't know how much i appreciate their help or maybe their help is expected much in return frm me. I wish i could accomodate and make them happy with all their requests. There were many a times when i was almost at a breaking point. Somehow, i know i can't give up yet as there were too many ppl i wan to return the favour and also for myself. When i flipped thru the pages, i kinda complimented myself as i did went thru and brought all those articles n pics in. Not an easy task but i managed to pull it thru. of coz not forgettin those ppl who helped and executed the magazine. There are many problems which ppl can;t see. The work and problems are so much that sometimes i don;t even know which one to tackle first. When i think back how i started a year ago, i guess i had brought this burden to myself as though i was predestined to take up such path. Who would in the sane mind take such a risk to do a magazine? I did. i dunno why. Maybe bcoz i saw an opportunity. Maybe i wanted to survive. Maybe, i was destined to walk this path and carry those burden to understand what is the meaning of 'struggling to success'. I had brought this thing onto myself. And now, the 'real' weight is coming down on me. How would i fare?? Whatever happen in the next mth, it happens for a reason.

Dunno what to do..

erm...is almost 1 am now. Just watched vcd, a chinese movie starring Jordan Chan. Written some things earlier but deleted it. Just wan those to know that i really appreciate their help. MOre obstacles now. More burden. More stress. Yesterday vomitted. Not food poisoning. Maybe hungry for too long. Now having headache. Very tense at the back of the neck. it should be the stress. well, had to carry on. Must push harder. well, no pics from me unless you wan to see some other stuffs. Hope to post some pics for you all to see la. Meantime, gotta rest.

Need Motivation Booster!!!

Is that time again. Lazy to do work. Work is piling up. Procastinated for so long liao. There are 101 things to do. So much work, so little time. I thought i was superman but these 2 weeks, seems like the power has vanished. Been downloading this 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy' to watch. Is a great show, i must say. So, is gonna be another tough week for me as i have procastinated in most of my tasks and i will need to finish them up the coming week. A lot of appoinments.......haih. No new photos at the moment. So, hopefully i can update somethings later on. meantime, i am goin to get my mind and spirit up.

yeh...i'm back and it's time to clear some cobwebs here.
well, many things happened in the past month.
car broken down halfway. had to kena towed.
in fact, i think we din really go clubing after the genting event.
All seems tired alredy.
Of coz i wud like to share as many things with you like;
we found a very good place to chill and so on...
and i always wished to put on a little weight, ....ya...my dreams came true.
i put on a few pounds. My face looked a bit rounder. My cheeks droop a little.
Ya...sign of old age!! Dammit! And my waist...erm...just say, when i changed clothes at the changing room in dept store, i nearly fainted when i looked at the person in front of me. My goodness, i can't imagine how i could let my future gf see this. I also wan to vomit. Imagine she see me naked....i guess she'll hold her breathe and pretend i looked sexy.....yuks!!!
This is not happening...haha. well, dunno is good or bad. maybe i ask the next girl whom she gonna see me naked..maybe right before she vomits...hahahaha...

Restless

ahh...thursday today. very restless. a lot of things to do but dun feel like doing. it's kinda hot out there. cud it be the weather? i made french toast...yaya....about 8 pieces of 'em. and then put some peanut butter on it...voila! Kimgary's french toast! can't do work here. it's extremely hot n warm. think i'll go 1 utama. ahh..ya la....ok la...i go 1 utama. dammit. sweating here. another one of those days when u can't make any appoinments.
